La Metal Fab Brand Identity
Project Overview
For this freelance project, I created a logo and brand system for LA Metal Fab, a Los Angeles-based metal fabrication company. The client reached out with several AI-generated logo concepts as reference material and a clear set of requirements for the final identity. The logo needed to reproduce cleanly in black and white, work effectively in full color, and use Cerulean Blue #2b6cb0 as the primary brand color.
My contributions included refining the visual direction, designing the final badge-style logo, developing logo variations, selecting typography, and building a simple brand board to guide future use. I focused on creating an identity that felt strong, industrial, and professional while still being practical for real-world applications like print materials, business cards, uniforms, signage, and digital use.
The final result gave LA Metal Fab a polished and flexible visual identity that translated well across both one-color and full-color applications. In addition to the logo system, I also designed business cards to help extend the brand into client-facing materials and create a more consistent, professional presence for the company.
